The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
No cracks or restorations detected. A minor chip to the upper centre left rim. Crazing to the glaze, consistent with the artist's technique and from the time of firing. The reverse with three footmarks, one with an associated loss to the glaze.
Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.
