The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No restorations detected. The rim with some light wear, and a few tiny chips to the reverse edge, not visible from the front. Some very light crazing to the glaze, from the time of firing. On very close inspection, one tiny nick in the centre of the upper front edge. Some light surface dirt. The reverse with some fine cracking to the frame, which appears to be from the time of firing. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
