The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No restorations detected. The rim with two chips, a few nicks and some abrasions. Some very light pitting to the glaze in places from the time of firing. On close inspection, one fine crack and some small chips to the black engobe around the nose, with one further nick below the chin. Some scattered fine surface scratches. The underside with some general wear, and one chip to the hook. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
