The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or restorations detected. A fine firing crack at each handle join from the time of firing. Minor pitting to the glaze in places, from the time of firing. Minor crazing to the glaze inside the pitcher, from the time of firing. One or two fine scuff marks and mild handling marks in places. The footrim with a small nick to the glaze, and mild scuff marks. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
