The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. Some light surface dirt and minor scuffing in places. Irregularities to the glaze, inherent to the artist's technique. The reverse with some minor spots of pigment residue, probably from the time of execution, and three foot marks consistent with the firing process. One rectangular label to the upper centre of the reverse. Subject to the foregoing it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
