The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. Very mild surface dirt and light pitting in places. The reverse with three foot marks with associated scuffing, consistent with the firing process and the removal of kiln furniture. Remnants of an old adhesive label and surface dirt in places. Two very tiny losses to the glaze on the reverse of the rim. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
