The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or cracks detected. Light surface dirt throughout. minor scuffs to the black engobe, particularly to the upper central design. The reverse with three foot marks, consistent with the kiln apparatus, two with associated losses to the glaze. There is possible evidence of restoration at the lower centre edge that is entirely unobtrusive and invisible under ultra-violet light. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally good condition.
