The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. Some light rubbing to the glaze at the extremities, and a very small chip to the tip of the nose. Surface dirt throughout, most notably to the unglazed portions of the decoration, and to the black engobe ground. A metal plate hanger attached with three clips to the outer edges. The reverse with some masking tape. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
