The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or restorations detected. On close inspection one fine, short hailrine crack to one of the raised elements, from the time of firing. Some very light wear to the rim, consitent with handling. Some light surface dirt and handling marks, predominantly towards the rim and the underside. The footrim with some small cracking to the white engobe in places, from the time of firing. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
