The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A.R. 615: No cracks or restorations detected. There are two small nicks: to the lower left corner and to the lower reverse edge. Surface dirt in places. The underside with one adhesive label, and the numbering is obscured with a thin layer of cosmetic paint. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.

A.R. 624: No chips, cracks or restorations detected. The extreme edges with one or two tiny nicks in places and mild surface dirt consistent with handling. The underside with one adhesive label. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.

A.R. 627: No chips, cracks or restorations detected. Minor surface dirt and handling marks in places. The underside with remnants of an old adhesive label. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
