No cracks or restorations detected. The handle securely attached. A very fine stable firing crack at the lower handle joint. Surface dirt, handling marks and scuffs in places, with a few associated tiny losses to the engobe. Small areas of discolouration, predominantly above the upper joint of the handle, the handle and in places elsewhere. Mild abrasion to the rim. Light dust inside the pitcher. A small chip to the inside of the handle. The underneath with an old taped label, vestiges of adhesive, and remnants from missing felt pads. Some surface dirt and wear, consistent with age, and two tiny chips, probably from the time of execution. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
