The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. The rim with two nicks, which appear to be from the time of firing. Some very light pitting, from the time of firing. On very close inspection, there are some scattered fine surface scratches and one or two tiny nicks, predominantly to the black engobe. The underside with three footmarks, from the time of firing, and two adhesive labels. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally excellent condition.
