The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A small chip to the underside of the rim. The upper with a small repaired loss to the black engobe. Losses to the engobe in the centre left and upper right. Crazing to the glaze in places, from the time of firing. The underside of the left of the plate with a short hairline crack, from the time of firing. The underside with three footmarks, from the time of firing. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
