The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. The rim with two small chips, and the spout with some light abrasions and general wear. Pitting to the glaze in places, in particular the handle, from the time of firing. Some light scattered surface scratches. The underside with an inconsistency in the white glaze, from the time of firing, and some associated chips, partially obscuring the stamp. The footrim with one or two nicks, and some general scuff marks. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
