The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
On close inspection, a number of skillfully repaired breaks visible under ultra-violet light, with some associated mild discolouration to the glaze, predominantly to the reverse. A spot of very sensitive consolidation to the black oxide. Minor pitting and some surface dirt in the deeper crevices. Some fritting to the outer rim. Three footmarks, some scuffing and a small crack to the foot rim.
