The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. The rim with some light wear in places and one or two nicks. Some light pitting to the glaze, and some minor crazing, predominantly to the green areas, from the time of firing. One tiny nick to the blue engobe, and some light surface dirt. The underside with one adhesive label, and three footmarks and some minor crazing, from the time of firing. The footrim with some nicks and light wear. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
