The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. A small nick to the glaze in the lower centre area, and one or two small nicks to the lower left area from the time of firing. The underside with three footmarks from the time of firing; and remnants of two old adhesive labels. Minor pitting to the glaze in places, from the time of firing. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
