The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
No chips detected. A very fine crack to the lower join of the handle, possibly from the time of firing. Crazing to the interior glaze, from the time of firing. Some minor rubbing to the rim and to the handle, a few minor scuffs in places. Surface dirt. Under very close inspection, there is evidence of cosmetic restoration to a small area at the rim of the base.
