The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks detected. There is evidence of professional restoration to an old crack in the top of the vase which has been resurfaced and is visible only under very close inspection. A few scattered white chalky scuffs. A few tiny chips to the raised edges of the engraved lines. A small chip to the underside of the circular element, behind the mouth, and a small one to the underside of the base, not visible from the front. Surface dirt overall. Two small holes in the back of the figure under the handles related to the firing process.
