The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. Some minor fritting to the rim. A small area of inconsistencies to the glaze at the left edge, possibly inherent to the firing process. Some inconsistencies to the black engobe. A miniscule soft scratch above the bull on the right side only visible in raking light. The underneath with three footmarks from the time of firing, one with a small associated chip. Minor fritting to the footrim. Subject to the forgoing it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.
