The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. Fritting in places at the rim and in the raised elements of the composition in places, with an associated pinpoint loss to the glaze at the centre right rim. A few spots of abrasion towards the rim at 8 o'clock. The underneath with some wear the footrim, and some light rubbing at the left rim. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally good condition.
