The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. The rim with one chip and three small nicks to the glaze. On close inspection, light surface scratches and minor pitting to the glaze, from the time of firing. The underside with three footmarks, from the time of firing. The footrim with a few small nicks to the glaze. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
