The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. A couple of pinpoint losses to the glaze to the lower centre rim and the lower right rim. A small area of abrasion to the upper left rim. A few imperfections to the white engobe in the right half of the plate from the time of execution. Some fine networks of crazing to the glaze, inherent to the medium. The underneath with some wear and three footmarks from the time of firing. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
