The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No restorations detected. Minor pitting and crazing to the glaze in places, from the time of firing. A very fine firing crack above the fish's eye. The underside with three small chips to the glaze which we believe are contemporary to the time of execution, and three footmarks, from the time of firing. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
