The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. One or two pin point losses to the glaze at the rim. Very minor pitting to the glaze predominantly in the darker pigments, inherent to the medium. The underneath with minor wear to the footrim with tiny associated losses in the glaze. Vestiges of old adhesive, probably due to an old mounting and a paper label. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
