The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Examined within its presentation frame. No chips, cracks or restorations detected. The rim with one or two tiny nicks. Minor surface dirt in places. Minor pitting and crazing to the glaze in places, from the time of firing. The underside with three fine firing cracks at the centre of the plaque, and two further fine firing cracks to the upper right corner and to the left edge. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
