The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or cracks detected. Very minor fritting to the rim with two small spots of abrasion to the rim. Crazing to the white glaze throughout, inherent to the medium. Very minor pitting and imperfections to the glaze, consistent with the artist's technique. Evidence of cosmetic retouching to the blue element at the upper right. The underneath with footmarks from the time of firing. Light fritting and wear to the footrim.
