The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or cracks detected. A possible repaired tiny chip on the rim above the right eye. The handle securely attached. The craquelure in the black glaze inherent to the medium. Some light surface dirt in places. The underneath with remnants of several adhesive labels and light wear to the footrim. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
