The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. A few tiny chips at the centre left edge. The lower edge with some fritting and minute losses to the engobe. A short line of abrasion at the centre right edge. A couple of light scuffs to the engobe towards the upper left edge. The glaze with some areas of light pitting and fine networks of crazing in places, both inherent to the medium. Some light surface dust in places. The reverse with some chips in places along the edges, and a short, fine firing crack at each corner of the right raised horizontal element. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
