The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. The rim with one or two small chips and a few tiny nicks to the glaze. Minor pitting to the glaze in places, from the time of firing. On very close inspection, light surface scratches to the glaze in places. The underside with three footmarks, from the time of firing. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
