The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations. Some fritting in places at the rim and to the raised white lines. A diagonal line of imperfection from the time of execution underneath the right figure, with a further, shorter line towards the upper centre rim. A few tiny studio stains in places. The underneath with three footmarks and light wear. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
