The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The upper right area with a sympathetic restoration. A smaller area of sympathetic restoration to the upper left towards the rim. The rim with one or two small chips to the glaze. Minor crazing to the glaze, from the time of firing. The underside with three footmarks, from the time of firing. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
