The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. A few soft, unobtrusive surface scuffs to the lower body of the owl and towards the right centre rim. A tiny loss to the glaze at the upper right rim and a further one on the underside of the rim at the left centre. The underneath with three footmarks from the time of firing, one with associated small area of glaze loss. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
