The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips or restorations detected. Light fritting to the rim. The handle securely attached with a very fine, stable firing crack at the lower joint. Some inconsistencies and mild pitting to the glaze, inherent to the medium. Minor scuffs to the black engobe and light surface dirt in places. The underneath with some wear to the footrim. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
