The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. Light pitting to the glaze, inherent to the medium. Several small imperfections to the rim, from the time of execution and a tiny spot of fritting. A further minute spot of fritting to to the raised elements towards the right edge. The underneath with three footmarks from the time of firing and a couple of further imperfections to the footrim. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally good condition.
