The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. A very small chip to the lower left rim. A couple of very short, unobtrusive surface scratches in places, only visible upon extremely close inspection. Very minor pitting to the black glazes in places, inherent to the medium. The underneath with three footmarks and associated tiny losses consistent with the artist's firing process and use of kiln apparatus. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
