The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
No chips, cracks or restorations detected. Very soft scuffs to the black engobe and minor fritting to the rim. The reverse with a soundly attached presentation hook from the time of execution. Minor fritting to the underside of the rim and three footmarks from the time of firing. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
