The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. Minor fritting to the rim and to the raised elements, with an associated tiny chip. The underneath with three footmarks from the time of firing. Fritting, wear and one or two tiny losses to the glaze at the rim. Paper label affixed with adhesive tape and small vestiges of old adhesive. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
