The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
No chips, cracks or restorations detected. Crazing to the light blue engobe on the cheeks, from the time of firing. On close inspection there are one or two fine surface scratches to the glaze. The underside with three footmarks, from the time of firing and one or two tiny nicks to the glaze on the footrim. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
