The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. The edges rough with a few stable, inherent firing cracks on the sides in places. A small chip to extreme right edge. Some soft, unobtrusive rubbing in the upper corners and at the left lower edge. Some light surface dirt in places. The reverse with a few short, stable firing cracks, inherent to the artist's technique, and some handling marks. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
