The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
No chips or restorations detected. The joins of the handle at front and back with a tiny short crack, from the time of firing. One or two minor imperfections in the clay on the body of the vessel, from the time of firing. Minor surface dirt. Some stray spots of engobe in places. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
