The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. Some minor imperfections in the clay and glaze with a few spots of pitting in places, from the time of firing. The rim with some rubbing and a few associated abrasions to the glaze. The underside with remnants of an old adhesive label and with one or two footmarks, from the time of firing. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
