The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks detected. Crazing to the glaze, from the time of execution, with some associated spots of discolouration on the inner rim and inside of the bowl. On close inspection there is a tiny chip to the inner rim, next to the blue and white handle. Some scattered chips and scuffs to the glaze. There are losses to the glaze in places, probably from the time of firing. The lid with chips to the rim, inner rim and tip of the handle, with some associated retouching. Subject to the foregoing it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
