The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. A few fine surface scratches to the black engobe and one or two elsewhere. The rim with a minor imperfection in the clay towards the lower right, a few tiny nicks and abrasions and some rubbing in places. Minor surface dirt and handling marks to the surface, with a few scattered marks in places. The underside with a few small adhesive labels and one or two small spots of adhesive residue. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
