The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No chips, cracks or restorations detected. The rim with some fine, short scratches and one or two tiny dints and abrasions. Some surface dirt and tiny, scattered, spots of white residue in places. The underside with fine lines of crazing to the glaze in places and three footmarks, from the time of firing. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
