The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

No cracks or restorations detected. The left eye with two tiny chips to the glaze. A few short scratches to the glaze at the upper rim and a few faint, short scratches elsewhere. The underside of the rim with a chip (approx. 1 cm.), an abrasion and with two foot marks, from the time of firing. Minor surface dirt. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
