The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Neutral hued image on glossy single weight paper with a margin along the right side. Soft creases scattered throughout edge, visible in raking light, and one hard crease (12 cm.) with a partially torn section (6cm.) in the lower right corner. Occasional soft creases and crimps scattered throughout surface of image, consistent with ferrotyped prints and visible in raking light. Retouching marks throughout, visible under close inspection.
