The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is structurally sound. The canvas, stretcher and attachment are in generally good condition. There are stretcher marks visible in places. There is minor rubbing to the extreme edges and corners. There is some soft surface soiling in the upper right quadrant. Examination under ultra violet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
