The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. There are some drying craquelures in the yellow passage, with some associated minor losses. There are some discoloured spots visible in the yellow passage. There are a few cracks to the blue passage. There are some drying craquelures visible in the blue passage. There is minor rubbing to the extreme edges. There are two losses to the extreme centre lower horizontal edge. There are few minor losses to the reverse edge. There is surface dust and soiling. Examination under ultra violet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
