The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvas, stretcher and attachment are in generally good condition. The impasto is well preserved. There is surface dust. There are some minor craquelures to the impasto. There is rubbing to the corners. Examination under ultra violet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in very good condition.
